ABOUT
Jac Rundell is a full time artist living and working from Paisley, Scotland.

She studied Communication Design: Illustration at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland and since graduating in 2017 has worked as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. Her work includes designing for local businesses such as; Create Paisley, Paisley Opera, The Artificial Womb magazine (Dundee), St Andrew's Aquarium, The Methodist Central Hall (Paisley) as well as designing and curating her own Feminist colouring book "Ladylike".

Despite illustration being a fun chapter to explore, Jac is now enthusiastic to reveal the work that has, until this point been hidden away in her studio: her contemporary art practice, fine art and personal passion projects.

Her work consists mostly of alla prima oil paintings that explore the nature of reality through the vastness of open water with no point of reference within the frame. She has painted these obsessively for the last year and was proud to exhibit them at the Synesthesia interactive art exhibition in June 2019 (Paisley Art Centre).

Jac is proud to welcome you at the very beginning of her fine art career and would encourage you to contact her to find out more about her art practice.
